1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small file that a website can store in the browser of whoever visits it, typically used to remember preferences, keep a session logged in, or analyze how the site is used.
2. Cookies used by this site
www.munda.es does not install any cookies of its own — no analytics, advertising or personalization cookies. No third-party analytics service (such as Google Analytics) or advertising service is used.
The only thing this site stores on the device of whoever browses it are a few technical
marks in the browser's local storage (localStorage), which are not
cookies:
- Whether the welcome message ("Before you enter"), shown the first time the site is visited, has already been closed.
- Whether the informational privacy notice, shown the first time the site is visited, has already been closed.
- The date of the last day on which that browser already counted its visit, so as not to count a new visit every time the page is reloaded the same day.
- Whether that browser has already rated a given book with stars, so as not to allow voting twice for the same book from the same browser.
These marks:
- Do not identify the user.
- When something is sent to the server based on them (for example, to count a visit or register a star rating), only the fact itself is sent — "count one visit" or "these are the stars given to this book" — never who that person is or anything that would allow that to be found out.
- Can be removed at any time by clearing the browser's browsing data.
Since no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are used, there is no need to request the prior consent set out in article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.
3. Third-party cookies beyond this site's control
If this website is hosted or viewed through third-party platforms (for example, the hosting provider itself, IONOS, or the browser being used), these may install strictly technical cookies beyond the site owner's control, necessary for the hosting service to work correctly.
4. How to manage or remove cookies
Users can allow, block or remove cookies installed on their device through the settings of the browser they use:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
Each browser offers these options in its own privacy settings menu.
5. Changes to this policy
Should this site incorporate analytics or third-party cookies in the future, this policy will be updated and the corresponding consent banner will be shown before installing them.
