At www.munda.es we take data protection seriously. This policy explains clearly what information is processed when you visit this site and download the books offered here, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Digital Rights Guarantee (LOPDGDD).

2. What data is processed (and what is NOT)

This website has no registration, contact or download forms, so no name, email address, postal address or any other identifying data is requested or stored from anyone who visits the site or downloads a book.

Specifically, and explicitly:

• No nationality, sex or age of any user is collected. This data cannot be reliably obtained through cookies or browsing behaviour, and this site does not use forms or third-party services to infer it.
• No IP address is stored, either for visitors or for people downloading a book.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are installed (see the cookie policy).

The only thing this site records are aggregate numeric counters, stored on the server:

• The total number of visits to the home page, and the time of the last recorded visit (this time is also shown publicly, next to the counter itself).
• The total number of downloads of each book, and of its AI-generated PDF summary, audio summary and infographic, when available.
• The rating of each book (the total sum of stars given and the number of votes cast), without ever recording who voted or how many times someone tried to vote.

These counters do not allow any specific person to be identified, directly or indirectly: they are simple global totals that increase each time someone loads the home page, downloads a book, or casts a star rating. To keep these figures reasonably accurate, the site applies a basic filter that discards visits and downloads that do not really come from a person (for example, automated programs or search-engine crawlers). That filter is based only on how the program itself identifies to the server and on whether the page has genuinely stayed open on screen for a few seconds — never on the visitor's IP address, which is not stored.

3. Purpose and legal basis

The sole purpose of these counters is to give the author a general sense of the interest his books generate. As this is not personal data, the GDPR does not apply to this aggregate statistic; nevertheless, this information is provided in the interest of full transparency.

4. Retention

The counters are kept indefinitely while the website remains active, since they are aggregate, non-identifying statistical data.

5. Disclosure of data to third parties

No data is disclosed to third parties because no personal data is collected. The server hosting this website is provided by IONOS, which acts solely as a hosting infrastructure provider.

6. Your rights

Even though this site does not process personal data, anyone may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to filio@munda.es. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe your rights have not been respected.

7. Changes to this policy

Should this site incorporate forms, a newsletter, or any other means of collecting personal data in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly and the appropriate consent will be requested in each case.
